Had an awesome day putting in the rails for opening weekend on CairnGorm Mountain Ltd with Andrew Forwood, calum Forwood and Kerr McWilliam! Check the sick penguin slide on the flat-down box! Weather is looking decent on Sunday some come up, shred some snow and do a little bit of jibbing! See ya up there!

The hill is getting whiter by the day and can’t wait to get up there! Fingers crossed I will be able to go riding this weekend, and planning on producing an “Opening Weekend” edit for the mountain and the blog!

Last weekend we headed on down to the dryslopes to get some needed practice for the coming season! First we stopped at Bearsden on the Saturday, it was an awesome day and we met up with the McCormicks and the rest of the Bearsden locals to have a shred.

The session began on a gap to down box. This was great to warm up on and it gave us a chance to practice on a bigger rail feature. I landed both fs and bs 270s, 360s and 450s on to the box. It was awesome to see how much we could push it and I ended up landing a frontflip on, 50-50, bs 180 out on the box which I was stoked on! Gus stomped some stylish grabs to boardslide and a smooth fs 270 to boardslide! Hopefully get some clips to put up soon!

After we began the kicker session, I had a list of tricks that I wanted to stomp and I all went to plan! I had an amazing time shredding with Matt and I stomped my bs 900, fs underflip, cab toedeo 720 and landed a good few swb 720s. Gus practiced some stylish tricks for his photoshoot the next day, and got some massive fs 360s!

The followig day we headed to Edinburgh, where Angus met up with his sponsor “Vexed” where he then went to do a photoshoot on the rooftop of a flat! Can’t wait to see the photos! Then we joined the crew for a shred at Hillend, it was an awesome night and the slope was running well! I managed to learn a new bs 5 and work on some different switch backside spins while Angus got some steezy shots for the new line of clothing!

All in all an action packed weekend! Photos and videos will be up asap…so stay tuned!

Hills are getting white up here, hopefully not long now! Forecast is for it to stay cold and wintery over the next week with more snow to come so with any luck we might get some shredding in soon!

So stoked on my new gear from Bataleon, brand new softgoods and a new 151 G.W! My switchback bindings have finally arrived! So sick Black, white and red with the FL Highback! Can’t wait to get using them at the Scottish Champs tomorrow!
